INTRODUCTION TO PLUTO
Pluto is the smallest planet in the solar system, ad the farthest away from the sun. It is a very unique celestial body. It was down-graded from planet to dwarf planet in 2006. It has an orbit like no other planet. It mostly stays away, but sometimes it comes past Neptune's orbit, and closer to Uranus. Its moon is about 1/2 the size of it, and over 500 of these can fit in earth. The surface is mostly gas like CO2 (carbon dioxide) and helium. The core of the dwarf planet is frozen rock and ice.
In the picture above, you may be thinking, "Where's Pluto? I see the word Pluto, but I don't see the actual shape!" Well, the answer to that is that Pluto really is there. If you look closely under where it says Pluto and Charon, you will see 2 dots. The bigger one is Pluto, and the smaller one is its largest moon, Charon. If you still can't see it, look inside the circle.
